Introduction
Introducing this exciting new venture as Thurso F.C enters the second phase of a ten-year plan. Formed in 1998 Thurso F.C started after calls for a Thurso team to play in the winter league competing in The North Caledonian League. Since formation Thurso F.C have won the league championship twice in 2000 and 2003, plus three-cup triumphs in The PCT Cup in 2001 plus The Morris Newton and Football Times Cup double in 2003.
The eventual aim of the club is to enter The North of Scotland Cup and Scottish Qualifying Cups and further on down the line, The Highland League. To fulfil our ambitions we need to upgrade Sir George's Park with training floodlights and main pitch floodlights also. This will not only benefit Thurso F.C but various other clubs in Caithness.
Thurso F.C are committed to this strategy and actively support youth football and young people in general by staging events such as kids discos and the incredibly popular annual football fun day with kids ranging from Under 8's to 14's taking part.
Funds raised from this weekly prize draw will help the club with short and long term plans we have and hopefully increase the profile of our club plus attract more spectators to attend our matches. We are confident the public will support us in this venture.
